Company History
Founded in March of 1992, The Building Inspectors of Georgia, Inc. has completed over 6,000 property inspections saving home buyers millions of dollars of repair costs as well as costly mistaken purchases! The founder of the company, Mike Tipton, has performed 75% of these inspections as well as developing the computerized reporting system. Mike Sylvester acquired the Company in August of 2003 and has continued to grow and develop The Building Inspectors of Georgia to meet the industries changing needs.

The comprehensive reporting style was developed from a "common sense" approach as to the condition of a property at the time of the inspection as well as predicted future repairs that could arise. Code knowledge is also an important part of any property inspection, especially for areas of the property such as electrical, plumbing and gas appliances. Structural and mechanical safety issues are also paramount in the inspection report. The comprehensive reporting system contains over 300 property items as well as miscellaneous items when required.
